A very warm welcome to Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club.
As we embark upon another year at KLGC, it is a great honor for me to represent the club, which I have been a member of for 33 years, and you, the members in 2024. I also look forward to carrying on the positive work of previous Captains, and thank Michael for nominating me for this year.
My thanks also go to the staff and members who give up their time and effort to maintain the high standards at our club, and without whom we simply wouldn’t be able to function.
We have another full year of golfing and social events planned and I look forward to seeing you and meeting you at some point during the year. I hope that we can count on your support, whether it be on the course or in the clubhouse.
I wish all our teams and club representatives good luck in all competitions and anticipate celebrating many successful campaigns in 2024.
I’d also like to extend a welcome to visitors to come and experience our interesting and challenging course. You will enjoy our wonderful setting on the Kilsyth Hills with unrivalled views over the Kelvin Valley.
This year my chosen charity is Scottish Autism, which is an organization dedicated to enabling autistic people to lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.
Finally, I wish you all an enjoyable and successful 2024 golf season.
