A very warm welcome to Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club.

Ladies and gentlemen, this year at Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club, we are proud to welcome back a familiar and much-respected face as our captain – Tom Winters. With over 50 years of dedicated membership, Tom is no stranger to the captaincy role, having previously led the club back in 1999. It’s safe to say the club holds a special place in his heart, and we are delighted to see him take the reins once again in 2025.

This year, Tom is championing Crohn’s and Colitis UK as his chosen charity – a cause close to his heart and one that provides vital support and research for those living with these challenging conditions. Throughout the year, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved, have some fun, and most importantly, raise funds for this fantastic charity.

Dates to Remember:

  • Captain’s Day – Saturday, 5th July: Get ready for a day of golf with a twist, as this year’s theme is Disney’s Marvel – so whether you’re channeling your inner superhero or just coming to enjoy the day, it promises to be a fantastic celebration.
  • Friday, 4th July (Evening): The festivities kick off the night before with the ever-popular Target Golf and Longest Drive Competition – a great warm-up for the main event and a chance to show off your skills.
  • Rangers v Celtic Charity Football Match: For football fans, there will also be a special Rangers v Celtic charity match, with the date to be confirmed – keep an eye out for more details!
  • Captain’s Charity Night – Saturday, 1st November: As the year draws on, we’ll be getting into the spirit with a Fancy Dress Captain’s Charity Night – a highlight of the social calendar and another fantastic opportunity to support Crohn’s and Colitis UK.

With a busy and exciting year ahead, Tom is looking forward to seeing both familiar faces and new members joining in the fun while supporting a truly worthy cause. Let’s make 2025 a year to remember at Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club – here’s to Captain Tom Winters!
