LADIES MEMBERSHIP
Hi Ladies, A Warm Welcome to our Golf Club!
My name is Fiona McGlashan and I am honoured to be the Lady Captain of Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club in 2012. I and my Committee are looking forward to the new season, particularly after the harsh winter we have experienced. You will love our course - it is a challenge but one you will enjoy! I have been a member since 1995 and during that time there have been several changes to the layout, all of which you will find interesting and enjoyable. The scenery is spectacular and on a clear day you can see Goat Fell on the Isle of Arran. We have many competitions and medals throughout the season - both for 18 and 9 holes - and our Lady members will make you feel very welcome. We have many laughs and social events in our lovely clubhouse which has great views over the course. We have a good relationship with the men’s section and they are very supportive. So come along and join us – contact myself, my vice Captain, Joyce Pugh or any member of my Committee for advice - and of course our Clubhouse Administrator and shop and bar staff are also on hand to assist. This is your chance to enjoy a memorable experience! |

Why take up golf? There are many reasons that it might be the best thing you ever did.A long walk on a regular basis will keep you fit. You’ll make new friends … and you might even be good at the game! A few hours of calm in a busy life are great for your mental health, For those who love nature, you can observe the changing seasons up close. On a quiet day you might see the heron in the pond at the 6th or a group of deer crossing the course.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
* The joining fee is suspended for two years and will be waived if the applicant remains a member for two years. If the applicant leaves the club within a two year period from entry, the joining fee for Full Membership £400, Weekday £250, Country £150, Youth £170 or Junior £60 becomes payable.
Each member is required to pay a yearly bar levy. This is a flat levy of £20 per member over the age of 18 and applies to all membership.
COMPETITIONS
Medals are played on Sundays with reserved tee time from 1 till 2 pm.
Thursday medals can be played at any time, by arrangement with partner, allowing those ladies with commitments on weekdays, to play in competitions in the evenings.
On the first Wednesday of the month, a nine hole handicap competition is played.
Beginners are very welcome. If you wish to speak to someone about taking up the game, contact us for a look around and some advice on how to start.
