Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club would like to advise that the green fees for 2021, as approved at the AGM held 17th December 2020, will be as follows: –
All of the above are inclusive of appropriate annual Scottish Golf Ltd (£14.50) and Stirlingshire Golf Union (£3.00) fees.
Those currently paying by Direct Debit need take no action as any adjustments will be made in your Direct Debit monthly collection. Please remember that this is an agreement for 12 payments and that the club will take action against defaulters. Defaulting members may have this facility withdrawn with the balance of fees due requiring immediate payment. Payment of all or any part of your fees will signify your agreement to abide by the constitution of the club.
The AGM again agreed to apply a discount for those paying by cash in one lump sum, provided payment is made before 28th February 2021. The discounted figures can be seen above. Any Direct Debit payer wishing to take advantage of this discount must contact Andy Green by the 22nd January 2021 to change their payment method from Direct Debit to Lump Sum. Members paying by Lump Sum should send a cheque (made out to Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club) for the attention of Mr A. Green, Clubhouse Manager, to the Golf Club. Alternatively cash/card payments can be made at the Shop during normal opening hours when a receipt will be given.
The AGM also sanctioned the rollover of the 2020 Bar Levy for the purchase of food and drink in the lounge or bar. Due to the restrictions placed on opening the upstairs of the Clubhouse pertaining to the Covid crisis, the Club understands that many members were unable to use last years Bar Levy, as such this Levy will roll forward to 2021 to allow members to spend it whenever restrictions are eased. The £20 Operational Surcharge above will be used to part fund a replacement Toro Workman & Sprayer and new Greens Iron for the coming season. This Levy will be collected in the January Direct Debit run.
As in the past all fees must be paid by 12 monthly Direct Debit instalments/Standing Orders or in one lump sum to be received before 28th February 2021. There is no facility for monthly cash payments.
The Clubhouse Committee wishes to remind everyone that there may be social evenings planned throughout the year. Check the notice boards, Club website, Club Facebook page and weekly e-newsletters for details and come along and support your Club. Please remember that the Clubhouse facilities can be booked by anyone for functions and the course can be reserved by anyone for visiting parties.
The Committee would remind all members to sign in at the Shop to ensure we are adhering to our obligations under Track & Trace, even when using the electronic reservation system, before play. Normal competition booking arrangements will apply as in previous years. To enter competitions members must produce their member card to be signed in.
The Committee would like wish all members a Happy New Year and pass on their best wishes to one and all for the year ahead. Please remember to be respectful to your fellow members, welcoming to all visitors and guests and keep up the pace of play during the season.
